Our ultimate goal is to have 100% of our garden this year started from seed, but we are giving ourselves a 20% room for grace as we experiment with :

Our ultimate goal is to have 100% of our garden this year started from seed, but we are giving ourselves a 20% room for grace as we experiment with :

Today our order of “What is Sin?” Was delivered and my youngest ran upstairs to read it after taking it out of the packaging.
Two (2) minutes later he stomps down saying “I need a Bible!” So I come back into the kitchen and he says “I’m checking this because this book has verses in it, and I need to make sure it’s what they say.”

This is the intention is behind Kadosh Learning: not teaching what to think, but how, and where to look for all things and build up our children’s ability to mine for truth, instead of absorbing someone else’s.

Project based learning means working together towards a goal, taking a concept and exploring it from various points of reference. Today we blended our Torah portion Shemot (Exodus 1-6) with our exploration of acrylic paints. After our morning scripture reading we scoured resources to build the family tree from Adam to Moses and created a visual representation in color to meditate on all the stories and lessons in between while galvanizing the names of those who carried the story and the seed with them.
